That's a gorgeous take on an internal vision, echoes of so many past vistas I've seen, I'm sure distilled and distorted by time and memory - but this seems a valid essence! Way cool!

Awww! Thank you. I'm happy you're enjoying it.

I liked to play with some of Gimp's distort filtres like lens distortion and noise and such to make this kind like the view through a crystal of sorts.

I'm not a huge consumer of poetry, but this has stuck in my mind over the years. Kind of sums up travel and fond memory, plus the loss of passing time. But we must remember to look forward as well as back!!

"Into my heart an air that kills
From yon far country blows:
What are those blue remembered hills,
What spires, what farms are those?

That is the land of lost content,
I see it shining plain,
The happy highways where I went
And cannot come again."

Well, I liked the one about the cherry blooming:
